Visually, there's two main elements to a half-zip hoodie: the zipper and the kangaroo pocket. In most cases it's the kangaroo pocket that stands out, so I wanted to make something where that idea was flipped. Though you can't really see it, it still functions as a regular kangaroo pocket.

As previously mentioned, my BAPE obsession is (still) real and I wanted to design a hoodie that was reminiscent of that. Though it looks dope, zipping your hood up all the way isn't practical. Instead, add a little shaping and have the zipper come up just below your eye-line. Now there's no need for the drawstring.

Less is more, no need for dangly distractions...
